Crochet Ice Cream Bunting

DIY - Ice cream bunting

Just when I thought crochet was behind me, I get back into it again. I have too much yarn left over to abandon it just now. Also, too many ideas and too many orders (albeit I insist on people having them).

Traditionally, crochet is not associated with summer, as anything knitted is usually cosy and warm. And here I am, middle of summer, submerged into 40 degree heat wave, crocheting away! Yet, I am making tiny little Ice creams, and that’s a little summery.

These are tiny little Ice Cream cones, very similar to the larger ones I’ve previously made, but now these come in  a bundle of five, strung together into a beautiful summer bunting!

Here is my hand for comparison (I think I have average size hands…).

This I love! A coleague has used them for decorating the hall for kids’ end of year show, and I think they looked great! My kids love them, too!

If you liked the Ice Cream that you saw, but would like to see a bigger version, or if you like the idea of bunting, but maybe not Ice Cream, checkout my older posts. You might find something you like:
